In recent days, the Thai public has shown great interest in China’s stance regarding the Thai-Cambodian border situation.
The spokesperson for the Chinese Embassy in Thailand has issued a statement, affirming that China adheres to the principle of resolving disputes through negotiation and consultation to uphold peace and stability in the region.
Thailand and Cambodia are both friendly neighboring countries to China, and China hopes that both sides will exercise restraint, promote dialogue and negotiations, and work towards a swift resolution of the situation.
Furthermore, China is willing to continue coordinating with both Thailand and Cambodia and will make every effort to maintain regional peace and stability.
