Car Overturns in Pattaya Curve Crash, Minor Injuries Reported

Brief News: Pattaya, Thailand – On June 5th, 2025, at 8:10 PM, the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation’s rescue center in Pattaya received a report of a car accident involving an overturned sedan with injuries. The incident occurred on Highway 36, near the intersection with Highway 331, heading toward Sattahip in the Pong Subdistrict. Rescue volunteers were promptly dispatched to the scene along with The Pattaya News team.

At the site, authorities found a bronze Toyota Altis flipped upside down on the roadside. The driver, identified as Mr. Thanamet Hirunpatcharannon, 41, sustained minor abrasions. Several other passengers, all Thai males, also suffered minor injuries. Rescue teams provided initial first aid, but the injured declined hospital treatment.

According to Mr. Thanamet, he was driving to pick up friends when the accident occurred. As he navigated a curve, the vehicle skidded on sand, lost control, and overturned.
