PATTAYA-
The city of Pattaya is set to host its inaugural FEEL GOOD FOOD FUN FEST, a multicultural market celebrating Thailand. Scheduled from May 8th to the 12th, 2025, the five-day event will take place at the Mapprachan Reservoir, in front of Wat Khao Pho Thong.
Event organizers, Mr. Damrong So Heng and Mr. Piyapong Pattarot, shared their vision with local media, explaining that the FEEL GOOD FOOD FUN FEST aims to unite communities through food and culture. “This market brings together the best delicacies from Thailand’s four regions, including halal products, alongside cultural performances representing various religions,” said Mr. Damrong.
The concept of a multicultural market stems from a desire to bridge divides in Thailand’s diverse society. “In the past, markets were often centered around a single religion, whether Buddhist or Islamic,” Mr. Piyapong explained. “We wanted to create a space where everyone coexists harmoniously, showcasing foods like Thai-Buddhist and halal dishes under one roof.” This vision gave birth to the FEEL GOOD FOOD FUN FEST, a pioneering event in Pattaya that celebrates unity through shared culinary traditions.
Attendees can look forward to a rich array of activities, including a children’s play zone, cultural performances from Thailand’s four regions, and a stage featuring impersonation shows of famous personalities. The market will offer a family-friendly environment, with a strict policy against alcohol, gambling, and drugs, ensuring a wholesome experience for all.
The FEEL GOOD FOOD FUN FEST marks a fresh and innovative addition to Pattaya’s event calendar, promising five nights of food, fun, and cultural celebration. Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in this one-of-a-kind market, where Thailand’s multicultural spirit shines.
