Undercover officers conducted a sting operation, purchasing 0.20 grams of crystal methamphetamine (“ice”) from the main suspect, 28-year-old Sutee Petchamlerd. After the transaction, police swiftly apprehended Sutee, discovering an additional 0.59 grams of ice and one methamphetamine pill in his possession.
Authorities also conducted random drug tests on bystanders in the area, uncovering four individuals testing positive for drug use: Narachan Thongpha, 42; Atthaphon Sriphako, 37; Thanawat Makaew, 27; and Charin Saengao, 39. Additionally, two others were arrested for drug possession: Sayan Namkam, 45, with 0.65 grams of ice, and Anantawut Phrombut, 32, with 0.49 grams of ice.
All seven suspects were detained and taken to Pattaya City Police Station for further questioning and legal proceedings. There have been multiple raids in Jomtien Soi 3 over the past several months as The Pattaya News has often reported but it has recently become an area of interest once again following THIS recent viral incident of a man who tested high on drugs and having drugs in his possession randomly attacking other people near Pattaya Beach while under the influence.
