Jomtien Beach Bustles as Tourists Flock for Labor Day Holiday

Jomtien-

On May 1st, 2025, reporters surveyed the tourism scene at Jomtien Beach in Chonburi, during the Labor Day holiday. The beach was crowded with tourists, primarily Thai families from other provinces, who came to relax by the shore and enjoy the sea during the long weekend.

Traffic along Sukhumvit Road, heading from South Pattaya to Jomtien Beach, moved slowly due to the continuous influx of vehicles bringing visitors to the area. Most tourists arrived in groups of friends or families, bringing children and grandchildren to swim and unwind. Many claimed spots on the beach, spreading out mats to relax, while others opted for shaded beach chairs and umbrellas provided by local vendors catering to the holiday crowd.

Happy Labor Day Weekend.
