Woman Attacked in Pattaya Cannabis Shop

PATTAYA –

A 24-year-old female employee at a local cannabis shop was left shaken after a seemingly random attack inside her workplace. The incident occurred at around 11:00 P.M. on Sunday (April 25th), near the busy intersection of South Pattaya Road (Tony Intersection), just 50 meters from a traffic police booth.

The victim, identified as Ms. Wadee (alias), reported that she was alone in the shop when a Thai man entered, displaying erratic behavior. According to her account, the man, dressed in a black T-shirt, long pants, and white sandals, had visibly trembling hands and an intense, unsettling gaze.

Initially, he inquired about the price of cannabis before moving closer, blocking her path. As she tried to escape by pretending to use the restroom, the assailant forcefully pushed her inside, where he proceeded to punch her in the stomach multiple times. A brief struggle ensued, causing furniture to crash onto the floor, momentarily startling the attacker. Seizing the opportunity, Ms. Wadee asked if he wanted money, but instead of responding, the man abruptly fled.

Fearing for her safety, she now worries that the assailant might return or harm others and has asked for Pattaya Police to take the situation seriously.
