Unidentified Man Jumps on Road Leading to Fatal Accident in Banglamung

Chonburi –

An unidentified man attempted to jump into oncoming traffic on Ban Huai Khai Nao Road in Banglamung, ultimately resulting in his death. The disturbing event, captured by a vehicle’s dashcam, has prompted authorities to investigate further.

Police officers from Huai Yai Station arrived at the scene at approximately 1:50 P.M. on Sunday (April 27th) after receiving reports of a man deliberately running towards vehicles. Upon arrival, officers found the victim lying face down in a pool of blood in the middle of the road.

Eyewitnesses stated to The Pattaya News team that the man, estimated to be around 35 years old, had been walking along the roadside in a disheveled state before suddenly sprinting in front of oncoming cars. Some drivers managed to swerve just in time to avoid a collision, with one witness stating that the victim even tried to open the door of their vehicle. Concerned for public safety, they immediately contacted the authorities.

The dashcam footage confirms that the deceased ran into traffic with apparent intent to be struck. While one driver successfully avoided him, another vehicle following behind was unable to stop in time, tragically leading to his death.

Police have begun reviewing security camera footage from nearby areas to determine whether the man was suffering from psychological distress or other underlying issues. The victim’s body has been transferred to a hospital, where officials await contact from relatives for final arrangements.
