Pattaya, at 6:00 PM April 26th, 2025 — Pattaya City Police were alerted to a stabbing incident involving a foreigner near a condominium in Soi 4, Pattaya.
At the scene, they found Mr. Romanov (whose surname was withheld by the police), a Russian national, covered in blood with a deep stab wound to the neck that had severed a major artery.
Emergency responders provided first aid before rushing him to Pattaya City Hospital in critical condition.
By 11:00 PM the same day, police apprehended the suspect, Mr. Denis (whose surname was withheld by the police), 43, also a Russian national, near Soi 4 Pratumnak.
Officers reported that Mr. Denis was heavily intoxicated, incoherent, and lingering near the crime scene. A concerned citizen spotted him acting suspicious and notified the authorities, leading to his immediate arrest.
The Russian suspect is now in police custody and facing legal action. He has not released a statement as of press time.
