Pattaya-

At 8:06 AM on April 27, 2025, the Huai Yai Police Station received a report of a snatch theft at Khao Mai Kaew Market. Officers from the Huai Yai patrol unit were immediately dispatched to the scene.

At the location, Ms. Warin Phongsungnoen, a 60-year-old curry vendor, reported to the police that while she was selling food, a tall, muscular man wearing a long-sleeve shirt and long pants arrived on a motorcycle. He pretended to buy two bags of curry for 40 baht. After she handed him the curry, the man discarded the bags, said he didn’t want them, and then grabbed her money basket containing approximately 2,000 baht. He quickly fled the scene on his motorcycle.

Police are now planning to review CCTV footage and gather witness statements to track down and prosecute the suspect.
