A foreign man wielding scissors caused panic on Jomtien Beach after allegedly chasing tourists in a violent outburst.
On April 25th, municipal officers from Jomtien, in coordination with local lifeguards, successfully apprehended a foreign man reportedly in a state of mental distress after he allegedly chased and attempted to harm tourists with a pair of scissors on Jomtien Beach.
The suspect was quickly restrained before any serious injuries occurred and was subsequently handed over to Pattaya Police at the Dongtan Curve substation for further legal proceedings.
The reason behind his outburst is being investigated.
