Pattaya to Host Its First-Ever Beachside Light Art Festival This May

Pattaya —

Pattaya is set to dazzle with its first-ever lighting art festival, blending fantasy and the sea into a glowing beachside spectacle this May.

On April 21st, at Pattaya City Hall, Ms. Tittipan Petcharakul, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya, chaired a preparation meeting for the upcoming “Pattaya Lighting 2025 – FANTASEA: The Illumination on the Beach” festival. Attendees included Pattaya City Council members, Chonburi Provincial Administrative Council members, the Banglamung district chief officer, and Pattaya Police.

Pattaya City plans to hold the “Pattaya Lighting 2025 – FANTASEA: The Illumination on the Beach” festival from May 1st to 5th, 2025, from 6 PM to 10 PM along Pattaya Beach. The meeting was called to make sure the festival runs smoothly and meets its objectives.

This will be Pattaya’s first-ever lighting art festival, inspired by the city’s two key identities—its boundless entertainment (“Fantasy”) and its iconic seaside charm (“Sea”). The event will be divided into eight creative zones featuring a variety of light art forms including archways, art installations, projection mapping, laser projections, and lighting installations—all designed as unique photo-worthy experiences. There will also be themed music.

Ms. Tittipan stated that Pattaya Lighting 2025 is expected to amaze both locals and tourists, and act as a powerful driver for the local and national tourism economy. She believes the event will significantly attract both Thai and international visitors. An official press conference is scheduled for April 30 at Central Pattaya Beach starting at 6 PM.
