Pattaya —
A 32-year-old Chinese man was found intoxicated and vomiting after crashing his pickup truck into two motorcycles and a car parked along Pattaya Third Road early Thursday morning.
At around 4:30 AM on April 17th, the Pattaya Police received a report from local residents about a black pickup truck that had crashed into two parked motorcycles and another car on Pattaya Third Road near Soi 21 Chaloem Phrakiat. Police promptly went to investigate the incident.
At the scene, officers found a black four-door Ford pickup truck parked on the roadside with the engine still running. Inside the vehicle, a foreign man was asleep. He was later identified only as Mr. Wang, a 32-year-old Chinese national.
In front of the truck was a fallen Honda X-ADV 350 motorcycle, and nearby was another Honda X-ADV 150 motorcycle. A blue Honda Civic was also found with damage to its rear end after being. None of the owners of the three damaged vehicles were present at the scene.
While reporters were documenting the incident, the pickup truck driver suddenly attempted to drive away. The driver, appearing intoxicated, revved the engine and crashed again, causing further damage to the front of the vehicle, which then became inoperable. The driver exited the vehicle, visibly drunk, walked to the back of his truck, and vomited. He then returned to the driver’s seat, rolled down the window, and induced himself to vomit again.
Shortly after, officers from the Pattaya Police Station arrived and asked the driver to step out of the vehicle. However, he was incoherent and unable to communicate. Police attempted to contact his relatives but were unsuccessful. He was then taken to the police station for a breath alcohol test and legal action.
