Photo Gallery: Pattaya Buzzes with Thai and Foreign Tourists Splashing in Songkran to Beat the Heat

Pattaya-

The Pattaya News reporters noted that the first official day of Songkran 2025, on April 13, 2025, in Pattaya saw a lively atmosphere. Both Thai and foreign tourists poured out to play with water, especially in Soi 6, 7, and 8, and along Pattaya’s beachfront road. Various bars and establishments joined in the water splashing, as the city experienced particularly hot weather.

Vendors lined the sois, selling numerous water guns, large ice blocks, and other items for tourists to use in the water play. Traffic on Pattaya’s Second Road and beachfront road was heavily congested, requiring police and volunteers to manage routes and solve gridlock.

However, this was just part of the Songkran festivities. Pattaya still has six more days of water play, ending in the big events known as Wan Lai: Naklua’s Wan Lai on April 18, 2025, and Pattaya’s Wan Lai on April 19, 2025.
