A 28-second video clip has recently gone viral on social media platforms such as Facebook and TikTok, showing a man and woman riding a motorcycle in a reckless and dangerous manner. The footage captures the couple performing a wheelie while speeding down a road, accompanied by a caption claiming, “The hardcore Pattaya couple.”
However, Pol. Col. Anek Sarathongyoo, Superintendent of Pattaya City Police Station, has since addressed the issue. After a thorough investigation into the video, including an analysis of the location and other details, he confirmed that the incident did not take place in Pattaya.
“The video appears to have originated from abroad. We have already identified the individual who posted it and are currently taking further steps accordingly. I assure the public that no one will be allowed to tarnish Pattaya’s reputation,” Pol. Col. Anek stated.
In addition, the Pattaya Police Chief issued a warning to those considering reckless driving or performing stunts in public, adding that such behavior is inappropriate, illegal, and could lead to loss of life. He strongly urged people not to imitate such actions under any circumstances.
