A wandering musician entertained tourists along Pattaya Beach with a lively phin (type of Thai music) performance, drawing curious onlookers.
On the evening of March 31st, The Pattaya News reporters observed a musician performing along Pattaya Beach. He was playing a lively rhythm on an Isan phin (a traditional northeastern Thai string instrument).
His energetic solo performance on the instrument captivated both Thai and international tourists, who joined in by dancing and swaying to the beat. Enjoy the performance here.
The musician carried a speaker system on a cart, which he secured to his waist with a rope while playing his phin in hand. As he walked along the beach, his melodious tunes drew the attention of passersby, with some admirers showing their appreciation by placing money in a donation box to support and encourage his performance.
