Bangkok, March 26th, 2025 — Thonglor police are still searching for Daniel Benjamin Goh Wei-En, a 32-year-old Singaporean man, after the body of 30-year-old Praowpilat was found wrapped in two layers of cloth in a luxury condo on Sukhumvit 39, Bangkok.
Police found the victim’s body in the bathroom of a 22nd-floor unit on March 26th. She was wrapped first in a white cloth and then in a blue blanket.
According to the police, Praowpilat, from Khon Kaen, had been in a troubled relationship with Daniel, whom she met while working in Singapore three years ago. The couple had moved into the condo two months earlier.
Daniel has entered Thailand 31 times since 2019, usually staying for 10–15 days. His visa expired on May 28th, 2024.

Police believe he fled to Chiang Rai and are coordinating with immigration and border authorities to track him down. A warrant has been issued for overstaying his visa and failing to report an unnatural death.
Friends of the victim told police that Daniel was highly possessive and that Praowpilat had previously reported him for physical abuse. Police suspect a personal conflict led to a possible murder.
