Pattaya —
A beauty salon owner in Pattaya is seeking justice after a thief broke into her shop and stole 30,000 baht in cash.
At 2:30 AM on March 28th, Ms. Namthip, 33, reached out to The Pattaya News after her beauty salon was broken into and 30,000 baht in cash was stolen from a counter drawer. The incident occurred around 11:00 AM on March 21st in Soi Paniad Chang. She had already reported the case to Pattaya Police Station, but no progress had been made.
Ms. Namthip explained that on March 21st, she arrived at her salon as usual. When a customer came in, she took them to the second floor for a service. After finishing, she went to the counter to give the customer change but discovered that the money in the drawer was missing. When she asked her staff, no one knew anything about it.
Ms. Namthip then checked the CCTV footage and saw that a single suspect had broken into the shop by prying open the door during the night. Upon further inspection, she found that only the 30,000 baht in cash was missing, while other valuables were untouched. She immediately reported the incident to Pattaya Police.
Ms. Namthip is now urging the police to review CCTV footage and expedite the search for the suspect to bring them to justice.
