Canadian Man Found Unconscious After Fight with Thai Wife in Pattaya Home

Pattaya —

A Canadian man was found unconscious with bruises inside his Pattaya home after a violent altercation with his Thai wife.

At 3:46 AM on March 30th, Pattaya Police received a report of a violent altercation at a residence located in Pattaya. Upon receiving the report, police rushed to the scene, along with rescue teams from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation.

Upon arrival, officers found Mr. James, a 47-year-old Canadian national, lying unconscious on the floor inside the house. He had visible bruises on his body. Rescue workers provided first aid and performed CPR in an attempt to revive him before rushing him to the hospital.

His Thai wife, identified by police as Ms. Atcharaphan, 39, appeared distressed and was unable to provide a coherent account of the incident. The scene showed clear signs of a violent struggle, with broken household items, including a shattered plant pot and scattered dishware.

A friend of Ms. Atcharaphan told police that the couple, who were husband and wife, had been arguing. During the altercation, the husband allegedly pushed the woman, causing her to fall and break a plant pot. He then allegedly grabbed a plate and threw it. The man then suddenly collapsed and lost consciousness.

However, police noted that they discovered the security cameras inside the house had been unplugged and could not record the incident. Meanwhile, Mr. Baker remained in critical condition under medical supervision. Authorities plan to summon Ms. Atcharaphan for further questioning to clarify the events surrounding the incident.
