Pattaya —
Pattaya police quickly arrested three suspects caught on video brutally attacking a German tourist on Beach Road.
At 4:06 AM on March 25th, a group of men brutally attacked a German tourist, leaving him seriously injured. A bystander managed to capture a clear video of the violent incident, which showed around ten men repeatedly punching, kicking, and striking the victim with a motorcycle helmet.
By 5:46 AM, Pattaya Police quickly dispatched an investigative team to track down the suspects. Officers managed to apprehend three individuals seen in the video, including 18-year-old Mr. Ta, 25-year-old Mr. Benz, and 27-year-old Mr. Sek. They were taken into custody near the crime scene and brought to Pattaya Police Station for questioning. All three reportedly admitted to being involved in the attack.
According to their statements, they were unaware of the exact cause of the altercation. They claimed that a motorcycle taxi driver had been in a scuffle with the foreigner, and they mistakenly assumed that the tourist had done something wrong. Since they were acquainted with the motorcycle taxi driver and saw him being attacked, they stepped in to help but admitted that their actions were excessively violent.
Pattaya Police revealed that the injured tourist is expected to file a formal complaint soon. Authorities are continuing their efforts to identify and prosecute all individuals involved in the incident.
