A 63-year-old man tragically died after his motorcycle collided with a 10-wheeled truck on Highway 36 in Chonburi on March 16th, 2025.
At 7:30 PM, the Sawang Boriboon Foundation was notified of a motorcycle crash at the U-turn on Highway 36 in the Banglamung district, Chonburi province. After receiving the report, authorities quickly coordinated with the police to investigate the scene.
At the location, a white Isuzu Rocky 10-wheel trailer was found with damage to the rear. A blue and black Honda Wave 110i motorcycle was also found. The rider, Mr. Adul Wongyod, 63 years old, was found unconscious. Three female tourists passing by, who witnessed the incident, were providing first aid and checking his pulse, but it was absent. They then performed CPR for over 20 minutes, but he did not survive.
It turned out that the tourists were nurses at Somdej Rajthevee Hospital in Sri Racha. They stated that they were traveling to Rayong and on their way back to Sri Racha when they came upon the scene. They, along with the Sawan Boriboon rescue team, administered CPR, but despite their efforts, the man passed away.
Police officers questioned the truck driver, whose name has been withheld, and are reviewing CCTV footage to determine the cause of the accident and to proceed with further legal action.
