Rayong — At around 4:00 PM on March 15th, 2025, authorities in Rayong raided an illegal gambling den disguised as a snooker hall in Klaeng District, arresting around 50 gamblers.
According to the police, over 50 officers from the provincial administration and related agencies conducted the raid after receiving complaints from locals. The gamblers reportedly attempted to flee when police arrived, but around 50 were arrested along with gambling evidence.
All suspects were taken to Klaeng Police Station in two six-wheel trucks and a pickup truck for booking and legal action.
Initial charges include illegal gambling, and authorities are investigating the den’s owner. Rayong Governor Traipop Wongtrairat ordered strict legal action, denying bail for all suspects.
