Two Thais Arrested for Motorcycle Theft and Drug Use in Banglamung

Two suspects, a man and a woman, were arrested for stealing motorcycles in Banglamung.

On March 12nd, Pol Col Sarawut Nuchanart, Superintendent of Banglamung Police Station, led an investigation team to track down a motorcycle theft gang operating in the Banglamung area of Chonburi province.

They were able to arrest Mr. Phatthapong, 31, and Ms. Kanyanee, 31, at a residence in a local village. The police seized several items including the clothes the suspects worn during the crime and three stolen motorcycles.

Police conducted urine tests on both suspects, which reportedly returned positive for methamphetamine. Both were charged with consuming illegal drugs consumption and theft from a dwelling at night, using a vehicle. They were taken into custody for further legal proceedings.
