A severe motorcycle collision on Theppraya Road in Pattaya on March 13 left two riders seriously injured, including a food delivery driver.
At 00:10 on March 13th, the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Center received a report of a motorcycle collision at the traffic light intersection on Theppraya Road. Upon receiving the report, rescue volunteers and a medical team from Pattaya City Hospital immediately rushed to the scene.
At the scene, a black Kawasaki motorcycle was found overturned with damage to the front. Next to it, the injured rider, identified as Mr. Tinkorn, 34, a food delivery rider, was found unconscious and seriously injured. Rescue workers and the medical team provided first aid before quickly transporting him to Pattaya City Hospital.
A short distance away, a black Honda Wave 125 motorcycle was found overturned with damage to the rear. The rider, Mr. Surin, 38, and his pillion passenger, Ms. Kanchana, 36, were both injured with wounds to the right arm and left leg. Rescue workers provided first aid and rushed them to Pattaya City Hospital as well.
Mr. Surin, the rider of the Honda Wave, explained to police that he and his wife were waiting at the traffic signal to turn left onto Thep Prasit Road. At that moment, Mr. Tinkorn, the rider of the Kawasaki, allegedly approached at high speed and collided with the rear of Mr. Surin’s motorcycle. Both vehicles then skidded in different directions, causing the injuries.
