Fire Breaks Out at Pattaya Condo, Tourists Flee in Panic, No Injuries

Pattaya —

A fire broke out at a Pattaya condominium early this morning, causing tourists to evacuate in panic.

At 3:06 AM on March 5th, the Land Disaster Relief Center received a report of a fire at a condominium in Soi Kor Phai in Pattaya. Firefighters and rescue volunteers immediately went to the scene.

Upon arrival, authorities found both Thai and foreign tourists in a state of panic. The tourists were evacuating from the building after noticing thick smoke billowing from a room on the third floor. Rescue workers forced open the door and discovered the source of the fire, which was a gas stove that had caused significant damage to the wall. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze using a chemical extinguisher.

A witness stated that they had seen smoke coming from the balcony window of the room and promptly alerted authorities. Residents were evacuated as a precaution. No injuries were reported.
