Pattaya Police Crack Down Again on Illegal Drug Network in Soi Jomtien 3 Following Public Complaints

Pattaya, at 2:06 PM on February 28th, 2025 —

Anti-narcotics officers raided an alleged drug den in Soi Jomtien 3, Pattaya, arresting one dealer and seven users. The operation followed complaints from residents about suspected drug activity in the area despite multiple recent raids and operations meant to permanently stop these problems in this area.

Undercover officers set up a sting operation using marked cash, leading to the arrest of a female dealer, estimated to be between 50 and 60 years old, who was allegedly openly selling drugs.

As officers moved in, some suspects attempted to flee but were all apprehended. Authorities seized methamphetamine (yaba) and crystal meth (ice) as evidence.

All suspects and the confiscated drugs were handed over to Pattaya police for legal proceedings. Officials urge residents to report any suspicious drug activity, assuring strict enforcement without exceptions.

This latest raid follows many recent operations on Soi 3 in recent months including bulldozing multiple dilapidated and abandoned structures occupied by homeless, drug dealers, and users, as we covered here in detail previously.

Pattaya police have also been focusing on nearby Jomtien Soi 11 for similar issues, as stated here.

This is part of a wider overall law enforcement operation spanning the greater Banglamung area and recently leading to the raids of entire neighborhoods in Naklua, as we covered here.
