Kamphaeng Phet, February 14th, 2025 –Thai national media reported progress in a triple murder case that shocked Kamphaeng Phet.
A family of three — Wongsakorn, 37, his wife Nattakarn, 35, and their 7-year-old son — were found shot in the head inside a pickup truck abandoned at an old house after being missing since January 12th, after the family took the son to Children’s Day the day before.
Police detained Siwakorn, a friend of Nattakarn’s brother, who confessed to shooting all three after a dispute over a promised loan of 100,000 baht that was never given.
The suspect reportedly admitted to using a gun he had pawned with the victim, shooting Wongsakorn first, then his wife and son to prevent witnesses from speaking out.
Another suspect, Khe, a close friend of Siwakorn, was also detained for assisting in moving the bodies and selling the victim’s gold. Authorities are continuing the investigation to determine if more individuals were involved.
