A motorcycle burst into flames on a road in Na Jomtien after its fuel line leaked, leaving the vehicle completely destroyed.
At 9:00 PM on February 1st, Na Jomtien police received a report of a motorcycle caught on fire at Sukhumvit-Na Jomtien Road in Sattahip district, Chonburi province. Upon receiving the report, police coordinated with Pattaya’s public disaster relief department to respond to the incident.
At the scene, officials found a white Honda Wave 110 motorcycle engulfed in flames. Firefighters attempted to extinguish the blaze using fire extinguishers, but due to the large amount of fuel in the motorcycle’s tank, the fire continued to spread.
A fire truck was then called in, and after significant effort, the fire was brought under control. However, the motorcycle was completely destroyed.
Mr. Kittisak, the 23-year-old owner of the motorbike, stated that he was riding his motorcycle home when he felt liquid splashing onto his leg. He stopped to check and discovered that fuel was leaking from the vehicle. Moments later, the motorcycle caught fire and was quickly engulfed in flames.
Initial investigations suggested that the fire was caused by a fuel line leak that ignited due to a spark. Police will further examine the remains of the motorcycle as part of the investigation.
