Chonburi Police Raid House, Seize Multiple Firearms and Drug Production Equipment

Police raided a house in Chonburi and arrested “Benz Thasai,” seizing firearms, drug production equipment, and luxury items.

At 3:00 PM on February 1st, Chonburi Provincial Police raided a house in the Mueang district of Chonburi province to arrest “Benz Thasai,” identified as 42-year-old Mr. Thanawat, and seized multiple firearms.

The operation followed reports that the suspect possessed a large cache of firearms inside his house. Upon searching the house, police also reportedly discovered drug production equipment, including pill crushers, blenders, and vacuum sealers, along with various handguns and rifles. Additionally, they found luxury watches, gold, branded handbags, a Toyota car, and a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Mr. Thanawat, the suspect, admitted that he had been renting the house for about six months. He frequently moved locations to avoid getting arrested.

Mr. Thanawat further confessed to producing crystal meth, ketamine, methamphetamine pills, Happy Water, and gas used in vape pods. Police also seized over 100,000 baht in cash. Mr. Thanawat was taken into custody for further investigation to identify his accomplices.
