Khao Kheow Open Zoo Near Pattaya Welcomes Newborn Zebra

Khao Kheow Open Zoo has welcomed a newborn zebra foal and invites visitors to see this adorable baby.

On January 26th, Mr. Narongwit Chotchoy, Director of Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Sri Racha, announced the arrival of a new member at the zoo—a female zebra foal born on November 6th, 2024.

The foal was born to a six-year-old mother and an eight-year-old father. She is in good health and currently receiving nursing from her mother. With this new baby, Khao Kheow Open Zoo now has a total of four zebras.

The foal has not been named yet, and the zoo plans to hold a naming announcement soon. Visitors are invited to see the adorable baby zebra at the zoo’s African Animal Exhibit.

In addition, Khao Kheow Open Zoo is hosting a Chinese New Year celebration on January 28th to 29th, 2025, to welcome the Year of the Snake. Visitors can enjoy various activities, including a merit-making ceremony for good fortune, walking through the “lucky snake arch,” receiving red envelopes for love and luck, watching a dancing wildlife mascot performance, and enjoying a snake show by the Smiling Snake House.
