Banglamung Welcomes Brand New District Chief

The welcome ceremony for Mr. Patcharaphat Srithanyanon, known as “Amphoe Om,” as the new Banglamung District Chief was held on January 13th, 2025, at the Banglamung District Office’s public hall. This event saw participation from various sectors including government agencies, the private sector, police officers, kamnans, and village headmen, reflecting a broad community interest in his new role.

Mr. Srithanyanon, who previously served as the District Chief of Don Phut in Saraburi Province, expressed his surprise and honor at being appointed to a position in Chonburi, a province noted for its high GDP and per capita income. He acknowledged the significant development of Banglamung District, indicating his intent to learn and apply his administrative skills to further enhance the area. He emphasized his approach to work as methodical, focusing on solving problems one at a time to progressively improve the district’s conditions.

He also highlighted his engagement with social media, where he personally creates and edits content not for financial gain but to promote creativity and positivity within the community. His commitment includes fostering cooperation among different sectors to develop tourism, business, and agriculture in Banglamung, aiming to elevate the quality of life for residents in both Banglamung District and Pattaya City.

Before this appointment, Mr. Srithanyanon had a diverse bureaucratic career, including roles such as a district officer in Sakon Nakhon Province, serving in various capacities within the Ministry of Interior, and leading administrative groups in Suphan Buri Province. His recent roles also included being part of the working group for the Deputy Prime Minister and directing training programs for district chiefs, showcasing his extensive experience in local governance and administration.
