Allegedly Drunk Foreign Pedestrian Struck by Motorcycle Rider on Pattaya Third Road

An allegedly drunk foreign pedestrian was hit by a motorcycle rider on Pattaya Third Road, sustaining head injuries.

At 12:10 AM on January 12th, Pattaya police received a report of a motorcycle accident on Pattaya Third Road near the entrance of Soi Chaloem Phra Kiat 21. Authorities coordinated with the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Team to go to the scene, along with reporters from The Pattaya News.

At the scene, they found an unidentified foreign man lying unconscious with a large head wound and significant bleeding. Rescue workers revived him by applying chest stimulation until he regained consciousness. Rescuers reported that the man was heavily intoxicated. After receiving basic first aid, the foreigner decide not to go to the hospital.

The other party involved was a red Honda Wave 125i motorcycle rider. The motorcycle sustained collision damage at the front. The rider, 31-year-old Mr. Prawit, sustained minor injuries and waited at the scene to provide his statement to authorities.

Mr. Prawit claimed that he was driving along the road normally when the intoxicated foreigner suddenly stumbled into the path of his motorcycle, causing a collision. He immediately contacted authorities.

The foreigner did not provide his statement at the scene.
