Pattaya —
At 9:30 PM on January 10th, 2025, Banglamung police officers received a complaint from Natthaphon Naksaraket, 31, a transgender person, claiming her car keys were stolen by a man named Paramet.
While filing the report, her erratic behavior drew attention, as she loudly argued and taunted officers, alarming the entire station, according to Pattaya local media.
Police observed signs of substance abuse, with needle marks visible on both arms. During questioning, she unexpectedly revealed a bag of crystal methamphetamine, leading to her immediate arrest. A search of her belongings uncovered 10.56 grams of meth in 10 packets, 11 syringes, and cash, according to the police.
While in custody, her mood fluctuated dramatically, from polite conversation to aggressive outbursts, even towards reporters. At one point, she boldly demonstrated her drug use, mixing meth with saline solution for injection—a habit evident from her arm marks, according to the police.
Initially, police charged her with possession of a Category 1 drug and forwarded her case for legal proceedings.
