Pattaya —
Pattaya plans to improve its Youth Center sports area with new buildings and better facilities for the community.
At Pattaya City Hall on January 8th, Mr. Kritsana Boonsawat, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya, chaired a meeting to follow up on the progress of the “Master Plan” project for the design and development of the area surrounding the Pattaya Youth Center sports field.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Kittisak Sreewongchai, Pattaya City Secretary, Mr. Phaiwan Aramchuen, Vice President of the Pattaya City Council, members of the Pattaya City Council, and officials from Pattaya’s Public Works Department.
After the meeting, Mr. Kritsana revealed that the city plays a vital role in promoting sports activities for both youth and the general public. However, the Pattaya Youth Center sports field currently has outdated facilities and insufficient space for sports activities to accommodate the city’s growth and the increasing demand for sports services.
As a result, the city has begun the Master Plan project to redesign and develop the area surrounding the Pattaya Youth Center sports field. The project has been assigned to N Asset Co., Ltd. The goal is to create a safe, beautiful, and functional environment with modern facilities for sports development and provide youth with recreational spaces for activities in education, sports, arts, and music.
Mr. Kritsana further explained that the Master Plan for the Pattaya Youth Center sports field includes service buildings, shops, public restrooms, an outdoor sports arena, 630-seat grandstands, football fields, basketball courts, volleyball courts, futsal courts, Sepak takraw courts, beach volleyball courts, a waste disposal building, a gymnasium, parking areas, a library, an ecological center for children, existing office buildings, athlete accommodation, street basketball courts, pickleball courts, and parking space for 73 motorcycles.
