Pattaya —

Over the New Year’s holiday, Thai national media reported a surge in tourists, both local and international, traveling to Koh Larn during the New Year holiday. Passenger ferries were fully booked on every trip as visitors sought to enjoy the festive season and water activities on the island.

Many tourists joined the Koh Larn Pattaya Countdown 2025 on December 31st at the Na Baan Pier. The event featured free concerts by popular artists like Takkatan Chollada, Manutsawee, and Slapkiss, along with a spectacular fireworks display over Pattaya Bay.
Pattaya police and tourist volunteers were stationed at Bali Hai Pier to manage crowds and ensure safety, emphasizing life jacket use and enforcing ferry capacity limits.

On December 29th alone, ferries operated 319 trips carrying 15,791 passengers to Koh Larn without any reported accidents said the Marine Department. Pattaya Tourist Police assured 24-hour safety monitoring throughout the remaining holiday period.
