Multiple Injuries in Pickup Truck Crash Involving Six Vehicles Near Pattaya

Pattaya – Two people sustained severe injuries, while three others were injured after a pickup truck driver lost control and caused an accident involving six vehicles in Banglamung on Sunday, December 29th.

The Huay Yai Police reported receiving the accident notification at 8:06 PM on the day in question on No. 331 Road, near the entrance of a housing estate in Khao Mai Kaew. Emergency responders and the Pattaya News reporters arrived at the scene to find a damaged pickup truck on the central reservation.

The pickup truck driver, identified only as Mr. Teeraphat, 21, was found unconscious with severe injuries and trapped in the cab. He received CPR before being taken to a nearby hospital. Another vehicle involved in the accident was a trailer truck, whose driver, Mr. Likhit, 31, sustained minor injuries, while his girlfriend, Ms. Anongnart, 28, who was a passenger, suffered serious injuries.

A damaged sedan was also found on the roadside, with its driver, Mr. Suriyan, 55, sustaining minor injuries. Three other damaged cars were involved in the accident, but no injuries were reported for those vehicles.

One of the drivers informed the police that the pickup truck driver was swaying before losing control and crashing into other vehicles in the opposite lane. The Huay Yai Police stated that they are continuing their investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident for further potential legal action.
