A New Years Message From The Pattaya News Team to You

oplus_2
Dear Viewers and Readers,

Wow…Another year has come and gone and we enter what will hopefully be an incredible 2025 for everyone.

As we stand on the cusp of a new year, I wanted to personally take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for your support throughout 2024. Each story we’ve shared, each moment we’ve captured from the streets of Pattaya, Bangkok, Phuket, and beyond, has been enriched by your presence, comments, support, tips, suggestions, engagement, and constructive criticism.

We’ve made a lot of improvements over the past year and I wanted to talk about just a few of them here:

-Introducing a business directory after reader demand to highlight great local services, attractions, restaurants, and businesses.

-Building, recruiting, and putting together a fantastic marketing, content creation, and branding team to complement the business directory, greatly expanding our ability to support and highlight local businesses and services and provide them visibility and awareness. Contact them here!

-Introducing a full-scale interactive digital e-paper released every Saturday completely for free to complement our website and social media offerings.

-Expanding and improving our video offerings on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. We have seen record engagement on all four and thank you for this.

-Being one of the first Thai news providers to adapt to new social media platforms like Bluesky and Threads. This comes while continually building our audience on existing platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and X. See a complete list of our social media presence here.

-Implementing a weekly free Coffee and News chat in person at our sister cafe at Rage Ringside Cafe every Tuesday afternoon, allowing us to better engage with our readers directly as well as listen to feedback and tips.

-Building a partnership with newly launched Anglo Siam Legal in Pattaya to be able to offer legal solutions and consultations for our readers who reach out to us with more complex problems and disputes that cannot be resolved with a news article.

-Expanding our support of the excellent Siam Business Brokers to provide opportunities for our readers looking to possibly get involved with purchasing and running their very own business in Pattaya. We have also been steadily working on TPN Property and working with large local developers and condos to promote their offerings and real estate, along with the real estate section in our e-paper.

-Expanding and improving our Thai language offerings, changing the format and style which has been well-received with our Thai audience. Many of our English readers are surprised when we tell them our Thai language news has an even larger audience than our English language news and also can be quite different in content.

-Speaking of Thai language support, we now have an official LINE account and present all our news on LINE as an official partner. (Unfortunately, this is currently only in Thai due to LINE regulations.)

-Numerous backend website improvements and changes, too many to list to be fair, almost on a daily basis, to improve quality of life and the reading experience. We have also significantly improved our work quality with the integration of certain AI support tools like our sixteen languages that are translated. We have a wide readerbase in Italian, German, Russian, and French amongst many others! Thank you!

-Improving and expanding our ability to support events, conferences, sporting activities, and festivals in Pattaya. We were involved in numerous activities in terms of videos and live streaming and articles like the Jet Ski World Cup, World Beach Tennis Tournament, Fight themed events at the excellent Rage Fight Academy, Muay Thai events, Cultural festivals for various communities, music and food festivals, condo and hotel grand openings, and many more. This will be even bigger in 2025.

These are just a few things and we are even more excited about the opportunities 2025 will present.

Your engagement has turned our work into a celebration of community and culture. As we look forward to 2025, I wish you all a year filled with joy, health, and happiness for you, your loved ones, friends, and family.
Happy New Year to each one of you, and thank you for making our stories part of your lives. Truly, thank you. We wouldn’t be here without you.
Warmest wishes,
Adam Judd
