Motorcycle Collision in Pattaya Injures Foreign National and Two Thai Women

Pattaya —

A motorcycle collision on Pattaya Third Road around midnight today left a foreign man critically injured and two Thai women with minor injuries.

At 12:16 AM, the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Center received a report of a motorcycle collision on Pattaya Third Road near Soi Chaloem Phrakiat 4/1. Upon receiving the report, rescue volunteers rushed to the scene.

There, they found a red Honda Click motorcycle, driven by a foreign man, in the middle of the road. The rider had sustained critical injuries and was lying in a pool of blood. Rescue workers performed CPR before rushing the man to a local hospital. The foreigner still could not be identified as of press time.

The other vehicle involved was a black Honda Scoopy, driven by a Thai woman and her friend who suffered minor injuries. The Thai rider, identified only as Ms. Kannika, 22, and her passenger, Ms. Samita, 22, stated that they were driving straight when the foreign rider allegedly suddenly attempted to turn into an entertainment venue, leaving them unable to brake in time and resulting in the collision.

Eyewitnesses also stated that the foreign rider made a sudden turn while the two women were traveling behind, leading to the accident. Pattaya police are reviewing CCTV footage to confirm the exact cause of the accident as stated by witnesses.
