Pattaya —
Nong Suthket, the cute golden tiger cub at Tiger Park Pattaya, is winning over visitors with her playful and friendly personality.
On December 18th, at Tiger Park Pattaya, a golden tiger cub named “Nong Suthket,” also called a strawberry tiger, was officially introduced to the public. Nong Suthket is the only golden tiger in Eastern Thailand. She is cute and playful, with a gentle personality that is not scary like some other tigers.
Right now, Nong Suthket is in a fun and happy mood and loves being mischievous. Even though she is still not very well-known, everyone who meets her says the same thing: “She’s so cute!”
Ms. Jaruwan Wonglamai, or Khun Fai, the caretaker of Nong Suthket, said that Nong Suthket is an 11-month-old golden tiger cub. She has lived at Tiger Park Pattaya since she was 3-4 months old and is the only golden tiger there. Nong Suthket is known for being playful, affectionate, and sometimes whining when her caretaker doesn’t play with her. She loves playing with water and has a happy personality. Khun Fai invites everyone to come and meet Nong Suthket every day.
According to the park, it is believed that there are fewer than 30-50 golden tigers in the world. While there is no official name for this color, some people call them “strawberry tigers” because their fur looks like strawberry blonde.
Tiger Park Pattaya is a private zoo with different tiger species. Most of the tigers are a mix of Indo-Chinese and Bengal tigers. But Nong Suthket, the golden tiger, is the only one of her kind at the park and the only one in Eastern Thailand. The park is open to both Thai and international visitors.
