On December 15th, 2024, Thai national media reported that Thai cuisine has once again earned global recognition, with Panang Curry ranking 5th on TasteAtlas’s list of the world’s best dishes.
The ranking highlights international admiration for the rich flavors of Thai food by TasteAtlas.
The top spot on the list went to Colombia’s Lechona, followed by Pizza Napoletana from Italy, Picanha from Brazil, and Rechta from Algeria.
Several other Thai dishes also made the Top 100, including Khao Soi (17th), Massaman Curry (60th), Tom Kha Gai (65th), Thai Grilled Chicken (73rd), and Phat Kaphrao (84th).
Notably, Panang Curry was ranked as the world’s best dish by TasteAtlas in 2023, further cementing its status as a global favorite.
