It was followed by “Digital ID,” highlighting growing interest in digital services and secure online identification. Other notable searches included “Viggle AI,” a cutting-edge artificial intelligence platform, and “State Payments” (รัฐจ่าย), referencing government financial assistance programs.
The most-read domestic news story was the tragic school bus fire, which captured widespread attention. Other key stories included the tale of “Nong Porn,” the rise of singer “Beer Passaranan,” and updates on severe flooding.
Globally, the top stories among Thai searches were Justin Bieber’s return to the spotlight, P. Diddy’s headlines, and a devastating earthquake in Japan.
Thai travel trends showed a resurgence in both domestic and international tourism. Lampang ranked as the most-searched domestic destination, followed by Wang Nam Khiao, Koh Kood, Nan, and the Giant Swing (Sao Ching Cha).
Internationally, China dominated the list, with Shanghai leading the way, thanks to a visa-free entry policy for Thais. Cities like Chengdu, Guangzhou, Beijing, and Harbin also ranked high, underscoring China’s popularity as a travel hotspot.
