A fire broke out in a Pattaya spa’s storage room. Fortunately, there were no injuries.

At 10:00 AM on December 11th, Pattaya’s Disaster Prevention officials, accompanied by fire trucks, and volunteers from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Foundation inspected a fire at a spa on Pattaya Third Road. The police from Pattaya Police Station also went to the scene to support the operation.

The incident occurred in a three-story commercial building which was used as a spa. Upon further inspection, officials found smoke emanating from a storage room on the ground floor. They ventilated the area and conducted a check, discovering that nearly all electrical outlets in the storage room had burned, with the heat also melting the air conditioning compressor.

A staff member at the spa told police that as they were about to open the store as usual, they noticed thick smoke coming from the storage room after opening its door. They immediately notified the relevant authorities. The staff member noted that no tourists were present during the incident.

Initial investigations by Pattaya police suggested that the cause of the fire was likely an electrical short circuit. However, further inspections will be conducted to confirm the exact cause.
