At 3:00 AM on December 7th, 2024, Ms. Kamonwan, a 42-year-old victim, filed a police report at Pattaya City Police Station after 2,000 baht was stolen from her tricycle parked in Soi Beach Road 6, Pattaya.
Through tears, Kamonwan, a scrap collector, explained that while parking her tricycle loaded with recyclables, an acquaintance offered to help move her vehicle, claiming it blocked a shop.
She reportedly left the keys in the front basket, but the man disappeared. Upon checking under the seat, she discovered that over 2,000 baht, earned through hard work, was missing. Suspecting the man, she promptly reported the theft, according to Pattaya local media.
Initially, Pattaya police recorded the incident and directed investigators to review CCTV footage and interviewed witnesses to identify and apprehend the suspect for legal proceedings.
