Pattaya —

Pattaya Traffic Police are ready to keep tourists safe and traffic smooth for December’s festive season.

December is a festive month in Pattaya, with big events like the International Jazz Festival, Christmas celebrations, Jet Ski World Cup, Naklua Eat and Walk Festival, Wonderfruit, and New Year’s Eve parties expected to attract many tourists.

Pol Lt Col Panupong Nimsuwan, head of Traffic Police at Pattaya Police Station, stated that the traffic department is fully prepared to manage the large number of visitors during December’s events with both proactive and responsive measures.

On the proactive side, the department has adjusted duty schedules to have enough officers during each event and is also strictly enforcing parking rules and other traffic laws. For responsive measures, they’ve made sure that equipment like traffic cones, barricades, and wheel clamps are ready to be used.

Additionally, Pol Lt Col Panupong revealed that police officers have undergone training to improve their communication skills with tourists. This aims to provide visitors, both domestic and international, an enjoyable experience throughout the festive season.
