On November 29th, 2024, Pol. Maj. Gen. Thawatkiat Jindakornsanong, Commander of Chonburi Provincial Police, along with relevant officials, inspected security measures for the Pattaya International Fireworks Festival 2024.
The event, scheduled for November 29th-30th along Pattaya Beach, is expected to attract hundreds of thousands of tourists.
Pattaya authorities have implemented comprehensive safety and traffic management measures, deploying 800 personnel, including 500 police officers and 300 staff from various agencies, such as Banglamung District, Pattaya Tourist Police, and city volunteers.
Parking facilities and shuttle buses are available to ease traffic congestion. Parents are advised to monitor their children closely and include contact details in their belongings.
An emergency lane has also been designated for medical incidents. These efforts aim to ensure safety and convenience for all attendees.
