Two Pattaya Students Return Lost Wallet with Cash to Police

Two 14-year-old Thai high school students were highly praised for their honesty after returning a lost wallet with cash and documents to Pattaya police.

At 11:06 PM on November 21st, Noppadol and Pattharaphon, both 14-years-old and students from Nern Plubwan School and Wat Sutthawas School, visited Pattaya Police Station to report that they found a wallet containing a significant amount of cash near the Central shopping mall in Pattaya.

The two boys explained to the police that while walking near the shopping center with an older sibling, they noticed a wallet left on top of an ice bucket. Upon inspection, they discovered it contained a substantial amount of cash and identification documents. The pair immediately decided to hand it over to the authorities to find the owner.

Speaking to The Pattaya News reporters, the students stated that they were happy to assist the police and hoped the owner would come and retrieve the wallet as soon as possible.

The initial police examination revealed that the luxury-brand wallet contained 3,640 in Thai baht, 71 Chinese yuan, and identification documents belonging to a Chinese tourist. Police are now waiting for the owner to claim their property.

The actions of Noppadol and Pattharaphon have drawn high praise from netizens, with many commending their honesty.
