Pattaya authorities arrested vendors for renting chairs without proper permission and selling kratom drinks on Jomtien Beach.
The operation, carried out on the night of November 9th, followed reports of a vendor who became aggressive and verbally abused city officials who had warned them about their illegal activities the night before.
The authorities found several rental chairs and tables set up along the sidewalk as well as kratom drinks being sold from the area in front of Wat Kratingthong. As a result, two individuals were arrested for illegally renting out chairs and tables. Additionally, a vendor selling kratom drinks was also arrested.
All suspects were taken into custody and legal action will follow.
