Bang Lamung —
At 2:00 PM on November 9th, 2024, Nong Prue police officers received a report that a group of teenagers had detained a suspected motorcycle thief in front of a mobile phone repair shop near Wat Boon Samphan in Bang Lamung.
Upon arrival, authorities found around 10 young people holding a suspect, estimated to be 50-60 years old, who appeared intoxicated and was bleeding from the mouth. He had no identification documents and was incoherent during questioning.
The motorcycle owner, 16-year-old Tritat, reported that he had parked his black-and-gray Honda motorbike in front of a 7-Eleven near Central View Talay at 8:00 AM on November 8th. When he returned around 9:20 AM, the vehicle was missing, and he subsequently filed a report with Pattaya Police.
Later, he was informed by his girlfriend that the suspect had allegedly driven his motorcycle to a phone repair shop. Tritat and a group of about 10 friends rushed to the scene, confirmed the vehicle was his, detained the suspect, and contacted police for further legal action.
