Chonburi —

A 21-year-old murder suspect has been arrested in Chonburi in connection with a deadly brawl that left two people dead and two injured at a local festival in Uttaradit last June.

On June 15th, 2024, a violent brawl occurred during the “Amazing Hidden Lin Lablae” annual event in Uttaradit province, resulting in two injured and two dead. Local and provincial police managed to track down the culprits, who appeared to be a group of non-local teens working at a nearby durian factory, while the victims were local youths.

On November 6th, Region Two Police arrested Mr. Kittiphan “O” Saipanya, a 21-year-old Thai man from Sisaket province in Chonburi on charges of “premeditated murder, attempted murder, and carrying a weapon in public.” Officers found that he was responsible for the murder of the two local teens; however, the suspect denied all charges.
