Pattaya —
A cement truck overturned on Sukhumvit Road, causing traffic to back up for several kilometers in Pattaya.
At 5:06 PM on November 4th, the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Center received a report of a truck accident on the inbound lane of Sukhumvit Road in Pattaya. Upon receiving the report, rescue volunteers and officers from Pattaya Police Station went to investigate the scene.
There, they found an overturned medium-sized Isuzu truck lying across the road. The truck reduced traffic flow to a single lane, causing traffic congestion for several kilometers. The injured driver, later identified as Mr. Damrong Phomrat, was transported to the hospital by rescue workers.
Oil had spilled onto the road, and cement from the truck was scattered across the area. Rescue workers quickly began clearing the road of debris.
There was no one who witnessed the accident, and police plan to review CCTV footage to determine the cause.
