Body of Thai Man Found Washed Ashore at Dongtan Beach

Pattaya —

A body was discovered washed ashore at Dongtan Beach in Jomtien on the morning of October 30th.

At 9:46 AM yesterday, Pattaya police received a report of a body found washed ashore at Dongtan Beach in Jomtien, Pattaya. Officers, along with rescue personnel from the Sawang Boriboon Thamasathan Foundation and reporters from The Pattaya News, rushed to the scene.

Upon arrival, they found the body, identified as Mr. Sarawut Mahachand, 29, in a black T-shirt, a green long-sleeve jacket, blue jeans, and blue sneakers.

Police discovered a head injury but found no other signs of trauma on his body. Additionally, cash was found in his pockets, which was collected as evidence.

Eyewitness Mr. Rachan Pheandi, 60, told The Pattaya News that he was fishing along the beach when he noticed the body floating near the shore. He promptly notified the police.

The exact cause of Mr. Sarawut’s death is under investigation by relevant authorities.
